Join us as Mahvish discusses her debut memoir, On My Way, currently a bestseller on Amazon. The memoir explores themes of self-growth, identity, breaking stereotypes, and the transformative journey of finding one’s true self.
About the Author:
Economics lecturer turned content creator, Mahvish Ahmed is a mama in boots, trotting through Europe, fighting the Dutch rain and sometimes missing trams. She is currently based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where she runs an Instagram blog. Her content focuses on women-centric topics such as unsustainable social standards, claiming your space and voice in the society, loving yourself unapologetically, seeking mental health, conscious parenting, and the struggles of motherhood. The appreciation for her content by her audience encouraged her to write her first book. She holds a BSc from LUMS and an MSc from the University of Warwick. Other than running a successful Instagram blog, she has also launched a clothing line and founded a travel company.
About the Moderator:
Mina Malik (BSc 2007) is an Oxford-trained writer and poet based in Lahore. She is the co-founder of The Peepul Press and prose editor at The Aleph Review. Mina's work has appeared in Rowayat, Briefly, Vallum, Scroll and other publications, and is represented in the UK by Peters Fraser Dunlop.
